Moving Forward

Now that some time has passed (not much), it is in my very humble opinion time to put this last week or maybe months in some cases of high tension behind us and ask ourselves how exactly we are going to head towards Switzerland 2025.

Although there is never going to be an exact answer on this issue, I believe that brainstorming would be the best way to find a way forward. This closing season of Eurovision, has proven that maybe it is time to change Martin Österdahl's management team, I don't think nothing is going to be done about it, Moroccanoil's contract technically ends next year, maybe it is time to look for new promoters, and hey who would have thought Switzerland is full of international heavyweight brands that can help.

Another solution I can think of is to invite the Netherlands and have them automatically qualify for the final, as well as perhaps hold a meeting with all the affected delegations and admit behind closed doors that everything that could have gone wrong ended up worse and ensure the safety of the affected artists and journalists.

Is this the time to restructure the EBU from the ground up? Only time will tell, but the contest has now been offered a second chance, and that will not be repeated again.
